Red Cross: Give Life
This would be ideal on one billboard structure, but using both faces, so the designs would be back to back. Why just say “DONATE BLOOD” when you can try and evoke an emotion out of some one, really engage them… make them want to give blood… don’t just tell them to. If you like this, let me know, I’d love to pass it on to Red Cross and see about getting this up in the air.
How come the Atlanta Zoo doesn’t do anything fun… like these?
McDonald’s Bag Board
THis was a great collaboration between Steve Helming (Art Director in IN) and I. Basically the bag will always stay there, but every month or so, the design to the right will change out to showcase a new product/whatever they’re pushing.
GA Tech: Swarm
Simple branding for GA TECH. It would be easy to change this design out with a baseball, or football, soccer ball… make it a campaign for all their sports teams.
Olympus Media Trade Show Booth
Working with Shannon Bromley, Samantha Couzens and Mike Nelson, we designed what I think is one of the more eye grabbing trade show booths in the industry… as far as trade show booths go… I mean… it’s a trade show booth.
Breast Cancer: LEDs
The whole month of October Olympus Media collected messages that we wanted to send out to our loved ones. We tailored and personalized each message to the brave women in our lives who have or had breast cancer. It’s a new personal goal of mine, to find a new way to do this every year. A special thank you to Todd Turner who sparked the idea this year.
REFLECT 911: LED Billboards
These designs ran at the exact times of each attack on the 10 year anniversary, then later in the day, they rotated through the digital schedule. They were part of a campaign we at Olympus designed to not say “NEVER FORGET”, but instead “Reflect” on how you have changed as a person, for better or for worse, reflect on that… how the lives lost that day changed your life forever.
OLYMPUS MEDIA SALES KIT: Same Road, New Path
This is probably the most comprehensive, in-depth explanation as to why Outdoor Advertising is awesome. This kit takes you through the features and benefits of Outdoor. Explains in depth how the creative process should work and details the incredible flexibility of digital billboards.
Working on this was an eye opening process that helped me grow in my profession in multiple ways… not to mention it being an incredible collaboration between Mike Nelson (VP of Sales and Marketing), Shannon Bromley (Creative Director) and the rest of our creative department.
Although some of the design isn’t 100% what I wanted it to look like, I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. It’s not strictly a design piece, this is a fully loaded, go out and kick some ass, Billboard Sales Kit.
I’LL QUIT BEFORE… : Anit-Smoking Animation
So this was posted today in Lake Ozark, MO. It’s on one of Olympus Media’s LED boards, unfortunately it can only be 8 seconds long, but I am planning on making one a bit longer, and add some music… but for now, I think this gets the message across.
I’LL QUIT BEFORE…: Anti Smoking Campaign
This PSA just went up on the digital boards in the Atlanta Georgia area… keep an eye out for an animated one.
DROWN FAST CAMPAIGN
So these are two out of the three boards for a alcohol abuse PSA I’m working on. The concept is about how if you drink and drive, or drink underage you can “Drown Fast”, more specifically, drown your future fast and drown your life fast.
Not sure if I like it with the words, or with just the images… feel free to comment on which one you like the best.
Bent Fork Design’s very first ADDY AWARD!
This invite is for my Grandpa’s 100 year birthday party. It won a Silver Addy Award in Atlanta and was a total team effort between my wife (Kate Herty), my sisters (Lisa Paterson and Erica Dammon) and my parents (Ed and Myra Herty). So thank you SO MUCH y’all, it means so much to get to share this with y’all, it’s by far my most favorite Addy award yet!
